There are lots of opportunities to serve - find the ministry that best suits your God-given gifts!


SUNDAY WORSHIP service

WORSHIP
Serve in our worship ministry if you’re a singer, musician, actor, reader, creative-type, or liturgist.

GREETERS
Greet folks on Sunday morning every other month! Be a warm and welcoming first impression.

USHERS
Help people find their seats.

COMMUNION SERVERS
Serve communion on the first Sunday of every month.

COFFEE HOUR
Prepare coffee and snacks for after church fellowship, or be on the set up/clean up team.

FACILITY CARE
Tidy up the sanctuary after service and help keep the backstage area clean & organized.

COMMUNITY CARE

PASTORAL CARE
Receive training for visitations and pastoral care for congregants and community members.

MEALS
Make and deliver meals for those in our community who are in need.

HOSPITALITY
Host special events like newcomer lunches and holiday parties.

WELCOMING NEWCOMERS
Follow up with newcomers over a cup of coffee or a meal, or help organize groups of 4-6 people in Connection Groups for deeper connection and relationship.

CHILDREN + YOUTH

We offer kids classes during our Sunday worship service (kids are dismissed after the children’s message):

NURSERY (Babies-Age 3)
The nursery is open to babies up to age 3. Drop off begins at 10:20am. For children's safety, all of our volunteers will wear masks.

PreK - K
Kids ages PreK-K meet in classroom 8 (in the courtyard). Parents: please accompany your child, sign them into class, then sign them out after the service.

1st - 3rd Grade
Kids in 1st-3rd grade meet in classroom 9 (in the courtyard). We have class every Sunday, except the 1st Sunday of each month (communion Sunday). We invite families to participate together in communion those days.

4th - 5th Grade
Kids in 4th-5th grade meet in the youth room (downstairs in the basement). We have class every Sunday, except the 1st Sunday of each month (communion Sunday). We invite families to participate together in communion those days.

Middle + High School
Volunteer as a youth leader for middle & high school youth group every Sunday from 7:00-8:30pm.

Ministry Teams:

  • Empower congregants to use their gifts to live out God’s mission and purposes.

  • Allow for more ministry and less administration.

  • Meet as often as necessary to achieve their ministry goals.

  • Recruit and train people for their particular ministry.

  • Communicate with the leadership team regarding goals, progress, and budget.

  • May have the leadership team members to be an ex officio member of any ministry team.

  • Are approved by the leadership team.
