Groot's newsletter
Dear West
Hills Covenant Friends,
You folks have
sometimes asked us to describe a "typical day" for us here as you attempt to get
a grip on the rhythm and flavor of our lives as missionaries in Bangkok. Our
response is always a bit hard to assemble as our lives seem to be, by nature,
unpredictable despite our attempts at finding routine.
These early
months of 2009 have included several of those challenging "exceptions" and the
attached Groot-ies Home Journal Collage
should give you a little taste of that fun.
We would
welcome your prayers for balance in our lives and for the challenging process of
healthy relationship "construction and repair" -- both with our Thai co-workers
and in our marriage. No crises at this point--but we're a little achy from
riding the rough road of these past few weeks. The up-side is that we do see
that God is indeed at work in these delicate situations.
We would also
welcome your prayers for Carl as he
is working through the process of researching and moving into new
work/ministry/business? directions...and for Karen as the ALC "summer break" program
for the children in the community gears-up this week...
Thank-you!
sincerely,
The
Groots
