This OT class will be helpful and exciting for all who want to dig deeper into the scriptures. You will gain fuller and deeper insight by answering a sheet of prepared questions that will guide you through each week's passage. This preparation will help both the novice and the more mature believer to participate knowledgeably and with confidence in the in-class discussions. Also, it is helpful to see a particular passage in the context of previous OT, and further NT, revelation. So, come to this class, and come prepared. If you do the work you will have a lot of fun, and you will find it especially interesting to learn what motivated the characters we will meet in this book to act righteously or faithlessly as the case may be. This in turn may be very helpful in sorting out the real motivations behind your own daily actions. And, this insight will draw you ever nearer to the LORD to seek his council and advice daily.
