How to join the site...
Just give Jack a call at WHCC during office hours at: 503.245.4419.
When you register for an account, be sure to join the WHCC members group. This will give you access to parts of the site reserved for church members. If you click on the groups menu in the "Navigation" box, you'll see a list of other groups. Once you join the WHCC members group, and if you go to that group area via the menu, you'll see a new box of links show up on the top right section of your browser. This groups menu is an easy way to create blogs, events and pages just for that group.
Blogging from the group menu is a great way to create a blog viewable by church members but not the general public. Any post made through the WHCC groups menu is viewable only for that group. Some of the other groups are public. Be sure to check out the calendar of events too!
If you are part of a church committee or commission and would like a group or a link to an area of the site where you can post information, let me know and I'll create it for you.
